Downtown at Sundown is back for another week, taking place on Friday night at 1001 Ryan Street, right in front of Historic City Hall and the Calcasieu Parish Courthouse in Downtown Lake Charles. This week, the outdoor event features Bayou Roots Night LA 99 South (Swamp pop), Horace Trahan (Cajun & zydeco). The concert takes place from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Stoney LaRue is now set to bring that signature sound to Golden Nugget Lake Charles this Friday night, May 15th. The concert is scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m., giving local fans a chance to experience one of Texas country’s most recognizable voices right here in Southwest Louisiana.
Jellystone RV Park & Resort in Lake Charles is going country Saturday night, May 16th, when Chris Breaux & 6 String Rodeo take the stage in the pavilion. Get ready to hear all your old 80's and '90s country favorites along with the wail of the steel guitar that night. Chris and the band will hit the stage starting at 7:00 pm.
