
Anything Goes At The Home Builders Association SWLA Community Give Back Cook-Off
Lake Charles, LA [KNGT-FM] - The Homebuilders Association of Southwest Louisiana (HBA) is bringing the community together for a Community Give Back Cook-Off on October 10 at Prien Lake Park.

The event will run from noon to 4 p.m. and is being billed as a thank-you to the Southwest Louisiana community while supporting local contractors, associates, and community efforts.
Teams can compete in either the Black Pot or Anything Goes category. Entry is $400 per team for HBA members and $500 per team for non-members. There is no admission fee for attendees, making the event a free opportunity to enjoy good food and community fellowship.

The HBA is also accepting sponsors at several levels. Cornerstone sponsorships are $4,000; Framework sponsorships are $2,500; Blueprint sponsorships are $1,000; and Builder sponsorships are $500. Sponsorship packages offer varying levels of event and promotional recognition, with some including a cooking team entry.
Organizers say the event is about the opportunity to celebrate, support, and give back to the SWLA community. The cook-off will take place at Prien Lake Park, located at 3700 West Prien Lake Road in Lake Charles. The park is open to the public, and there is plenty of parking.
